In particularly favourable years, we produce our real cru, the Barbera d'Asti Docg Superiore, from our better exposed vineyard which gives every year excellent grapes.
After a fermentation conducted with high quality yeasts and a ten days long maceration, this wine rest for a year, from the 1st of January after the harvest, in a 2700 liters oak barrel. Then the Barbera d'Asti Docg Superiore is bottled and, after six months, it is ready for the market. It's a wine which matches well with beefy and tasty meat dishes, but it can be described as a meditation wine.
